This page explains how StoreAO approaches manual verification for shops before enabling online-selling functionality. StoreAO is a hyperlocal platform that helps users discover nearby shops. Coverage is currently strongest in Srikakulam while more cities are being added. Shops that are not manually enabled for StoreAO platform orders are discovery/contact-only listings. Only shops that StoreAO verifies and enables for platform orders can sell through the StoreAO cart.

Why Verification Matters

StoreAO may list shops for discovery, but online-selling access is not automatically granted to every shop.
Manual verification helps reduce misleading seller behavior, weak fulfillment quality, and trust issues for users.
Verification is intended to support a safer and more reliable local-commerce experience.

What StoreAO May Review

StoreAO may review available shop identity details, contact information, address consistency, responsiveness, and operational readiness.
StoreAO may also consider whether a shop appears capable of managing product listings, COD orders, delivery handling, and complaint follow-up responsibly.
Verification does not create a guarantee of perfect seller performance and does not transfer seller responsibilities to StoreAO.

After Verification

A verified shop may be enabled for online selling subject to continuing compliance with platform expectations and seller responsibilities.
Verification status may be reviewed again if repeated complaints, misleading conduct, poor fulfillment, or unresolved support issues are observed.
StoreAO may restrict, suspend, or remove online-selling access if trust, compliance, or quality concerns arise later.

What Verification Does Not Mean

Verification does not mean StoreAO becomes the direct seller of the shop's products.
Verification does not mean StoreAO assumes primary responsibility for stock, delivery, refunds, or item accuracy.
Participating sellers remain primarily responsible for their commercial conduct and customer commitments.

For users

Use StoreAO to discover nearby shops, compare offerings, contact shops, and place orders with verified online-selling sellers when that option is enabled. Coverage may look lighter outside Srikakulam until more local sellers join.

Some shops are listed only for offline discovery, direct contact, and store visit support.
Only StoreAO-verified platform-order shops show cart ordering; discovery-only shops should be contacted by Call, WhatsApp, or store visit.
Verified online-selling shops may accept COD or configured payment methods through the platform.
Until StoreAO launches broader city delivery operations, delivery availability depends on the shop's own service radius, selected delivery distance, or direct arrangement with the customer.
Users should review shop details, delivery terms, and seller policies before placing an order.

For shop owners

StoreAO gives shop owners a local discovery presence and may enable online selling only after manual verification.

Manual verification is required before a shop can be enabled for online selling on StoreAO.
Before platform-order access is enabled, the shop can still use StoreAO for discovery, product visibility, calls, WhatsApp enquiries, and store visits.
Shop owners remain responsible for listings, pricing, stock, order acceptance, delivery, and refunds.
Shop owners can configure the delivery area or distance they are able to serve. StoreAO may launch broader city delivery systems only after enough local shop coverage exists.
Repeated quality or complaint issues can lead to warnings, restrictions, suspension, or removal of online-selling access.
